EDUCATOR CHIPOTLE CHALLENGE (ECC) FINAL DAY 365 (8/28/19)!!
Wow, what an adventure this year has been; thank you ALL for being part of it! Several goals were achieved this year:
*I completed Kael’s challenge to eat @chipotle once a day for one year!!
*I gathered people for this educational cause. Thank you to anyone who has joined me -physically or from afar - for a meal at Chipotle in the last 365 days. Tonight, 77 people showed up to support, & four people sent me photos of them eating Chipotle to celebrate with us!! 81 people sure surpasses my previous record of 28 people at a gathering.
*I have highlighted stories of how educators have positively impacted peoples’ lives (still editing & posting on ECC @youtube )!
*We fundraised over $2,000 (updates to follow) to purchase school supplies for educators at Da Vinci Charter Academy to serve our students in grades 7-12 & to donate to the Davis Joint Unified School District to improve access to school-based mental health services!
*I wrote @theellenshow @ellentube 111 letters to share the ECC, then 4 more to invite her to today! I visited @wbtourhollywood to get closer to her inviting me to her show. #GetMsEbbeOnYourShow
*I made new connections, tried new things, stepped out of my comfort zone, gave it my all, persevered through bumps in the journey, remained positive overall & I would do it all again, & make a few tweaks to the process! Your love & support throughout means so much to me! I love you!
